Surf Magazine Collage

This piece is a college of a barreling wave and sunset in the background. This piece was made entirely out of local surf magazines that I collect from around my town. My town has a large surf culture and I wanted to create a piece that reflects that. Cutting pieces from a variety of local magazines allowed me to take a different part of all of these magazines and put them together into some new and beautiful. This piece is meaningful to me because it reflects the atmosphere of my hometown and what it means to live in San Clemente.
